The sixth EverJazz international jazz festival will be held at the end of June. The festival brings together the best Russian jazz musicians with famous artists from all over the world. Besides the amazing music, the festival audience will be able to visit open-air art workshops and seminars and enjoy a great time with families and friends. The festival unites jazz and other arts under one roof on a beautiful summer day on 23 June at Ivolga recreation centre, Kadnikovo village.
URAL MUSIC NIGHT
Ural Music Night is a festival that brings together different styles of music and completely different people. On this night, the city becomes one big concert venue and the musical centre of the planet with 2,000 performers, 100 venues, 50 genres of music and 200,000 amazed listeners. The best musicians of the city, the country and the whole world perform on the stages in the urban space. This is something you’ve got to see at least once in your life. The festival will be held on 29 June. Admission is free.
Some of Russia’s most legendary rock artists will light the stage of Ekaterinburg in mid-July. Splean is a popular band of Russian rock philosophers. The singer Zemfira is one of the most paradoxical musicians. The hip hop artist Dolphin is a romantic experimenter. Bi-2 is a real alternative rock band with an endless sense of taste. VIENNA MUSIC FILM FESTIVAL
The Vienna Music Film Festival starts in late July. Every year, thousands of spectators come to participate in this unique event that crossed the borders of Austria a long time ago. Visitors can enjoy the best film recordings of Viennese concerts, operas and ballets on a huge screen. The festival gathers more than 700,000 spectators from all over the world. In 2017, the Ekaterinburg event was attended by more than 50,000 people. Take advantage of this opportunity to enjoy the music and relax in the fresh air in the heart of Ekaterinburg. The festival will be held from 26 July to 11 August in the central square in front of Ural Federal University. Admission is free.
Crazy Days is the Russian version of La Folle Journée Festival created by René Martin more than 20 years ago in Nantes, France. Today La Folle Journée is one of the most famous and most popular music festivals in the world, held in France, Spain, Japan, Poland and – since 2015 – in Russia.
Crazy Days, which will be held in Ekaterinburg for the fourth time this year, will bring together hundreds of performers and thousands of listeners. This is a great opportunity to visit the open-air concerts of the Sverdlovsk State Philharmonic and enjoy the first vibes of the Ural autumn. The festival will be held from 7 to 9 September in Literary Square.
